Information for the EU Wildcard tournament is here!

The Blade & Soul Championship Series introduces the European Wildcard Tournament, held on July 15, 2017 at the ESL Studio in Leicester, UK. With a $10,000 USD prizepool for competitors and giveaways for attendees, you’ll definitely want to save the date!

How to Participate

You don’t need to be registered for the Blade & Soul Championship Series in order to participate and win the prizes! In fact, the winner of the Wildcard tournament gets automatically qualified to the European Regional Championships! However, only registered teams will be eligible to earn Fighting Points.

How to Attend

 

The ESL Studio is located in Leicester, UK. Doors open at 9AM BST, and the tournament begins shortly thereafter.

Getting to the Studio

Arrival Points: International Airports to LEICESTER TRAIN STATION

The national rail website is the best place to book train tickets.If attendees aren’t in a rush or need to save money, there is also the slower national express bus service.

Leicester Haymarket Bus Station Charles Street

From Leicester Rail Station

For travel from Leicester Rail Station, you have two options. Private Car or Bus

Arriving By Private Car:

  • There is a black cab taxi rank to the left of the exit of Rail Station, which always has cars available.
  • Alternatively, Uber is functional in Leicester and a car can be called through that service from the Rail Station.
  • Approximate Cost: £10-£15

Arriving By Bus

  • There are two key bus routes from the city centre to the studio, the 88 and the 88A . Both depart from the Humberstone Gate station at Leicester LE1 1WB , approximately a ten minute walk from Leicester Rail Station.
  • Please note, on the 88 route you should disembark at the station opposite Saffron Way . Should your bus driver need a landmark, ask for the Iceland supermarket in Aylestone .
  • On the 88A route, you should disembark at the station opposite The Fairway . Should your driver need a landmark, ask for the Tesco Express in Aylestone. From here, it is a short walk south to Saffron Way, where you will see the studio.
  • Approximate Cost: £4 (Return Ticket)

From Leicester Haymarket Bus Station

For travel from Leicester Haymarket Bus Station. A bus from Humberstone Gate Station is most appropriate choice.

Arriving By Bus

  • There are two key bus routes from the city centre to the studio, the 88 and the 88A . Both depart from the Humberstone Gate station at Leicester LE1 1WB , approximately a three minute walk from Leicester Haymarket Bus Station.
