We try to bring a fresh experience to Blade & Soul by including a variety of events, and July is no exception with the Infinite Inferno update on July 6. Like Summer returning, we’re bringing back an event you haven’t seen in a few years! And to celebrate the new dungeon—Altar of the Infinite— we’ve added extra rewards to make them feel more refreshing. All these events will complete on August 10.

Fortune Falls

This returning event starts when Taigong, an old fisherman from Moonwater, reaches out for help and leads you to his Hideaway to discover why the fishes are sick or scared. It turns out that Kegleg Jeg and the Gollak Army are partying too hard. Your mission is to stop them and restore tranquility to this part of the Earthen Realm.

How to Participate

You can discover this area by completing the quest “A Fisher Out of Water” in your Quest Journal in the Event section. The Daily Quest for Fortune Falls is “Grog and Plog,” and you will have to talk to Kaolang at the dungeon’s entrance to activate it.

You can reach the Fortune Falls event dungeon from the Dungeon Lobby [F8] or Jadestone Village on the Viridian Coast, where you’ll find the portal on the north side. Once inside, battle with Kegleg Jeg and his Ploggle partiers. Each time you slay party-goer groups, you’ll get the Tipsy buff that increases your damage. This should put some sense into these inebriated visitors. But be ready for an intense end of the party!

What’s the Catch?

In addition to restoring peace in Taigong’s Hideaway, defeating the ultimate party boss will net you a Giganura's Bounty. You can open it to receive the following rewards:

When you’re done with your stacks of Fortune Cups, take a trip to the Dragon Express, where you can exchange them for the following rewards:

And don’t forget to get your free Fortune Cup (2 Fortune Cups for Premium members) from the login rewards at the 3-hour mark!

The party continues this summer as we’re adding new fishing rewards to your festive activities! Until August 10, you can trade the Angler's Pearls you’ll get from fishing in the Dragon Express for the following items:

Altar of Rewards Event

The new Demonsbane dungeon, called Altar of the Infinite, is releasing next week. We wanted to make this release window feel extra special. So, until August 10, we’re doubling the daily quest rewards! But that’s not all…

Infinite Quest Event

We’re also adding a cherry on top of this cherry! Completing more daily quests during that period will reward you with extra rewards. You can use multiple characters to increase your completion count, but the rewards will be distributed only once per account (after the August 10 maintenance).
