Begin the Dungeon Quests and embark on a dangerous journey
An old friend sends you a letter that begins this dungeon’s questline with the quest “The Grim Nexus.”
Yehara informs you of having stumbled upon a mystery and wants to meet with you in person. You find her injured at the Mirage and it turns out that several members of the Grimhorn attacked her while she was visiting her sister’s memorial in Lotus Lake. The Grimhorn dropped a mysterious incantation stone while Yehara was fighting them off. She suspects that the stone is infused with Chaos, so she sent her assistant So Gabok to investigate the matter.
As he returns, he informs both of you that the Grimhorn have been gathering around a massive tree near an abandoned shrine and seem to be planning a ritual involving the Ebondrake, a well-known dark cult.
Embark on a journey together with So Gabok to stop these rituals and unlock the Grim Nexus dungeon by following the quest line!

Demonsbane Dungeon Stages
Like most Demonsbane dungeons, Grim Nexus has 20 available stages instead of Easy, Normal, and Hard difficulties, offering even more challenges, and some stages may even introduce different boss mechanics through effects. These dungeon effects may include:

Periodically creates an Aftershock at the challenger’s location. |

Executive Power |
Increases the Attack Power and Health of boss monsters. |
|
Fatal Injury |
Deals Damage over Time when the challenger’s HP is below 80%. |
|
Fatigue |
Triggers an effect that periodically decreases the Recovery Rate. |
|
Grudge |
Creates a Chaos Orb that increases allies’ Attack Power and deals Damage over Time to the challenger when a normal monster is killed. |
|
Inspire |
Creates a totem that increases allies’ HP and deals damage to the challenger when a normal monster is killed. |
|
Mayhem |
Periodically creates a Ripple at the challenger’s location. |
|
Merciless |
Triggers an Attack Power Bonus and Damage Reduction effects when a normal monster is hit during a debuff. |
|
Obsession |
Has a chance to summon a Vortex Chaos Orb during combat. |
|
Rage |
Triggers Attack Power Bonus and Damage Reduction effects when a normal monster’s HP is below 30%. |
|
Unstoppable |
Applies the Invincible effect to allies near a certain monster. |
|
Uprising |
Increases the Attack Power of normal monsters. |
All players start at Stage 1, and you will earn Demonsbane XP to unlock the next stage. Once a Stage has been unlocked, you can go back to it at any time. To see your Demonsbane Stage and XP, access the Demonsbane Scroll on the lower left next to your Unity Rank.
Grim Nexus Boss and Stage Rewards
As you embark through the ruins you will encounter many disturbed spirits and enemies, be brave!
You will first have to face Guum, who commands spirits that infuse him with powers. Defeat Guum for a chance to acquire the following personal rewards based on the stage cleared:
