Take a look at some major items and system changes arriving January 13 with the 5th Anniversary Festival update!

With the launch of the 5th Anniversary Festival on January 13, there will be several item additions and system changes. Full details will be outlined in the patch notes on January 12, but here’s a preview of the more notable changes coming in this new update.

New Heart Tier

As enemies become stronger, you should too! Dauntless is the next Heart tier, and upgrading it will unlock additional Attack Power, Critical, and HP along with the chance to trigger the Dauntless Strike, which can deal 900% of Attack Power at five stacks.

New Legendary PvP Weapons

The next line of Legendary PvP weapons becomes available on January 13. Complete the Daily Quest and Weekly Quests from Nova Core, Whirlwind Valley, and Beluga Lagoon to collect Realmkeeper Fragments and Ores to upgrade your Dragonfang Weapon – Stage 7/8/9 to Realmkeeper – Stage 1/2/3. Realmkeeper Fragments and Ores can also be acquired from Battle Trader Eosin for 1,500 and 3,000 Battle Points, respectively.

Also open to the Realmkeeper weapons is Mythical Enchantment. After unlocking the weapon to Mythical with 250 Gold, (5) Enchantment Stones, and (5) Transformation Stones—enchant Realmkeeper weapons up to +20 to add additional PvP Attack Power, HP, Mystic, and Critical Defense.

Realmkeeper Amulet Skill Enhancement

Battleground Trader Eosin will sell the Realmkeeper Amulet Chest for 28,000 Battle Points. Opening the chest will allow you to choose a chest for your class specialization, and opening that chest will randomly yield a Superior, Heroic, or Legendary Realmkeeper Amulet. Like the Silversteel Amulet, the Realmkeeper Amulet can further enhance specific skills by opening up bonus skill enhancement points. Even if a skill is already maxed out, the Realmkeeper Amulet can exceed the max skill points ordinarily available.

Any spare Realmkeeper Amulets can be traded at the Battleground Trader for a higher tier Amulet Chest, or salvaged for a Realmkeeper Anima that can be subsequently spent on a specific Amulet.

Other Changes

  • Dragonfang Orbs will be antiqued on January 13. 1 Dragonfang Orb = 30 Bloodstone Fragments.
  • The Drowning Deeps Daily Quest, Rolling in the Deeps, will no longer be an eligible quest for Daily Challenges.
  • A new Daily Quest will be added for completing Dungeons on Hard Difficulty.
