With the launch of Blade & Soul: Dark Passage on July 22, there will be several item additions and system changes—full details of these incoming changes will be outlined in the patch notes on July 21. Here’s a preview of the notable changes coming in this new update.
New Hunting Zone - Nyraka
Infected by demons and fiends, the isle of Nyraka has felt the effects of Mushin’s meddling in the Divine Realm. This place knows no friends, only foes, as dark thoughts and violence pollute the land and mind.
Nyraka is a hunting zone open to PvE and PvP from July 22 to August 19. Auto-Combat can be used in this zone. Accept the Letter Quest, A Keeper’s Call, to make your way over there.

Silversteel Laboratory Weekly Quest, Data Driven, will replace Undying Fire from Snowjade Fortress in the Weekly Challenge.
New PvE Weapon Tier – Dragon Spire
In May, we added stages 7 through 9 for Wingsong and Lionroar weapons. Now upgrade your Thornbreaker weapon Stage 7-9 weapon to the next Legendary PvE weapon tier, Dragon Spire. You can review the weapon cost adjustments and new costs for Dragon Spire here.
Dragon Spire Weapon Stage 3 and 6 can be resealed using 8 Brilliant Sealing Charm Fragments.
New Mythical Weapon Enchantment System
A new system will be introduced to the game that will allow you to change your Legendary raid weapon into a Mythical weapon. With a Mythical weapon, you can use the all-new Fusion Stone along with other materials to enchant your weapon to increase Boss Attack Power and add Critical Damage at the higher enchantment levels. Mythical status is currently only available to Thornbreaker and Silversteel weapons.
Mythical weapons can be enchanted up to +20. The earlier levels have a high rate of success of enchanting, but the higher levels will have lower rates of success.

The Enchantment Stones needed for Breakthrough can be acquired by transmuting Premium Transformation Stones and Fusion Stones. Fusion Stones can be acquired as a reward from completing 7 Weekly Challenges, the Halcyon Hills Challenge Dungeon, Nyraka, Merchant of Wonders, and achieving high ranks in battlegrounds.

- Certain Hard Mode dungeons will have a chance to drop the Divine Splendor Psyche Chest.
- The box guarantees one of the following psyches: Legendary Beast Tamer's Psyche, Legendary Sage's Psyche, Legendary Defender's Psyche, or Legendary Diviner's Psyche.
- The Merchant of Wonders appearance rate will be increased. They will now also carry these items for purchase: Fusion Stone, Brilliant/Sparkling Radiance Stone Chests, Brilliant/Sparkling Ascension Stone Chest, and more!
