Eternal Blade–Items and Systems Preview

With the launch of Blade & Soul: Eternal Blade on February 24, there will be several item additions and system changes. Full details will be outlined in the patch notes on February 16, but here’s a preview of the more notable changes coming in this new update.

Spectral Shrine Solo Dungeon

Spectral Shrine is the latest heroic solo dungeon addition to the game. Start your investigation by accepting “The Spectral Shrine” quest in your Quest Journal and traveling to Ajanara Monastery in Solak.

The solo dungeon has three available modes—Easy (Duo), Normal (Solo), and Hard (Solo). In Easy (Duo), players will be able to enter the dungeon with a friend. Taking on the Blade Mentor in Easy (Duo) will reward Mentor’s Emblems, which can be spent with Merchant Songhyun in Ajanara Monastery. Defeating the Blade Mentor in Normal (Solo) and Hard (Solo) can reward both Mentor’s Emblems and Spectral Emblems along with a chance to get the Special Blade costume, Agitator Belt, Agitator Earring, and more. The Agitator Belt and Agitator Earring can be used to evolve to the next tier of Legendary Belt and Legendary Earring accessories.

New Legendary Belt, Necklaces and Earring Accessory

Upgrade Belt, Earring, and Necklace accessories to the next PVE/PVP tier—use the Agitator Belt, Earring, and Necklace to create the new Omen/Portent Belt, Cataclysm/Totality Earring, and Reckoner/Aggressor Necklace. The Agitator Earring and Agitator Belt are rewards from Spectral Shrine (Normal and Hard) and can also be purchased from Merchant Songhyun for Mentor’s Emblems. The Agitator Necklace can now be found in the House of Idols Treasure Chest which is rewarded after Hexi Lexi is defeated in the House of Idols. The House of Idols Treasure Chest can also be bought at Dragon Trader Junsorei for Sanctum Cores.

We’re also introducing the next Legendary Raid Necklace tier, Spiritwaker. Take the next step up from Thornbreaker to Spiriwaker with an Unrefined Spiritwaker Necklace available from Merchant Songhyun in Ajanara Monastery for 360 Spectral Emblems.

With these new tiers of Belt, Earring, and Necklaces, we’ll be adjusting the upgrade costs for these accessories:

  • x10 Onyx Scale, 300 Gold

Unity Rank Expansion and New Unity Store

The maximum Unity Rank will be expanded from 180 to 210—continue to acquire Reputation from completing Daily Quests, Daily Challenges, Weekly Challenges, or from using Reputation Charms.

We’ll also be adding a new Unity Store where enhancement items like heroic Psyches, Brilliant Ascension/Radiance Stone Chests, Hongmoon Etching Stones, and more that can be purchased with Unity Tokens. Unity Tokens are available by completing 5/7 Daily Challenges and event rewards.
