Blade & Soul Producer Jonathan Lien shares a look into the December update
Hello Blade & Soul Community,
I hope everyone is enjoying slaying demons and earning spooky rewards in the Blade & Ghoul event! We really appreciated the feedback and suggestions you submitted which allowed us to adjust the event for a better player experience. It’s this kind of community feedback that we find critical to address issues when something isn’t working the way it should or in general to continually improve the game for our players. To that end, we’ll be announcing the details for the Golden Harvest Festival in just a few days, and we hope to hear your feedback on that as well.
But the main reason for this letter is to provide some information regarding our December update. By now, some of you may be aware of the class specialization update that was recently released for Blade & Soul in Korea. Initially, this update was scheduled to be released in North America and Europe this December, but over the past few weeks, we collected player feedback and reactions, which led to an internal discussion about the best course of action. We ultimately felt the best decision for our players was to wait and delay the release of the class specialization update, which will allow us to include additional balance changes and adjustments made over the coming months when we release that content.
We are still planning to have plenty of content for our December update, which introduces two exciting dungeons, powerful legendary equipment, new systems, and additional quality of life improvements. And since we’ll be in the holiday season, we’ll be announcing the ability for Blade & Soul players to sign up to receive a free gift pack when the December update launches.
As always, I want to encourage everyone to continue sending us feedback and suggestions and I also want to thank everyone for your continued support as we continue to work to bring you fresh content and improvements to Blade & Soul.
