Irontech Forge Now Live!

This update brings many features and refinements, including the new Irontech Forge dungeon, gear changes, and an overhaul of the gem system.

Irontech Forge Dungeon

Irontech Forge is a new 6-member Normal and Hard mode dungeon for level 50 characters arriving in this update. Hidden beneath the ruins of the Celestial Basin, the Irontech Forge is both a Soulstone mine and an advanced research center for bio-mechanical weapons. It secretly served the Talus Dominion for years until a group of rebellious workers, calling themselves the “Iron Army,” took it over and broke all ties with Zaiwei. With an abundance of Soulstones, and advanced, never-before-seen weaponry at their disposal, the Iron Army now poses a threat to the entire region—and beyond.

The ousted Chief Administrator, Jang Hansol, desperately needs your help to recover the Forge’s valuable secrets and dismantle the Iron Army before it evolves into an unstoppable force. To do so, you must fight through legions of advanced automatons, soldiers in augmented mech. suits, and the Forge’s hideous cyborg prototypes before facing the facility’s new administrator, Yoong, the “Chief Mechanizer” who has used his own experiments to transform himself into a one-man army.  Should you prove victorious, you will reap the rewards.

• Blackstone
  • This item is used to upgrade Raven Weapons Stages 7-9.
• Transcendence Engine
  • Used along with Void Fragments to exchange with Dragon Trader Hu Yangim in the Celestial Basin for Obsidian Gems which increase Elemental Damage.
• Divine Grace Stone
  • Used to combine two Soul Badges to create one Legendary Soul Badge that provides the effects of both previous Soul Badges. Only specific combinations are allowed and they vary by class.
• Costumes
  • Unchallenged and Ambition costumes

Soul

• Hongmoon Energy - Stage 10
  • Now when you upgrade Hongmoon Energy Stage 10 you have a random chance to receive either an Awakened Hongmoon Critical Energy – Stage 10 or the new Awakened Ascending Soul – Stage 10.
• Awakened Ascending Soul – Stage 10
  • This is a new Soul which provides a lesser effect than Awakened/True Hongmoon Energy, but with a much lower cooldown (8 seconds vs. 1 minute).
• Transcendent Soul
  • True Hongmoon Energy - Stage 10 now upgrades to Transcendent Soul (5 Stages), then Awakened Transcendent Soul (5 Stages), and finally True Transcendent Soul.
• Cosmic Soul
  • True Ascending Soul - Stage 10 upgrades to Cosmic Soul (5 Stages), then Awakened Cosmic Soul (5 Stages), and finally True Cosmic Soul.
  • Similarly, the Cosmic Souls have a lesser effect than Transcendent Souls, but with a much lower cooldown (8 seconds vs. 1 minute).
• Pristine Oil
  • Pristine Oil is a new item which is created through Transmutation for 1 Sacred Oil, 10 Void Fragment, and 5 Gold.
  • Pristine Oil is used to switch between the following Souls:
    • Awakened Hongmoon Critical Energy – Stage 10 <-> Awakened Ascending Soul – Stage 10
    • True Hongmoon Energy – Stage 10 <-> True Ascending Soul – Stage 10
    • Awakened Transcendent Soul <-> Awakened Cosmic Soul
    • True Transcendent Soul <-> True Cosmic Soul

Legendary Weapons

• Raven Weapons Stage 7-9 are now available.
  • These upgrades require Blackstones which can be acquired from the Irontech Forge.
• Dawnforged/Riftwalk Weapons Stage 4-6 are now available.
• Ascendant Weapons Stage 1-6 and upgrades from Galaxy Weapon are now available.
  • These upgrades require Ascendance Stones which can be acquired from 6v6 Battlegrounds

Soul Badges

• Certain existing Soul Badges can now be combined to create Legendary Soul Badges, which provide the effects of both. Only specific combinations are allowed, and they are different for each class. To create a Legendary Soul Badge, you will need a Divine Grace Stone—a new item from the Irontech Forge.

Gem Renewal

• Obsidian Gems are now available and can be obtained by exchanging Transcendence Engines and Void Fragments with Dragon Trader Hu Yangim in the Celestial Basin.
  • Obsidian Gems provide bonuses to specific Elemental Damage.
• After the patch, gem qualities are updated.  This process is not automatic but instead is done through the Exchange Antiques menu. The stats provided by the gems will be the same, but you’ll have to do the exchange in order to transmute the gems in the future.
